Nestled in the rolling hills of
North Louisiana, five minutes off Interstate-20, is Walden Hill Miniature Horse Farm.
The fact that this farm exists is proof of the statement that minis are
"the horse for everyone". My husband Jim, forced into early retirement
and confined to a motorized scooter by Multiple Sclerosis, and I do not
have a farm background. However, we have quickly learned to care for our
fast growing herd.
When our, then 8 year old, granddaughter showed great interest in showing
the minis our rather ordinary and sedate life took a radical turn to fun,
frantic and focused on our exciting future with our minis.
Our goal is to produce and show miniature horses that excel in temperament,
conformation, performance and good health. Encouraged and guided by professional
trainers, knowledgeable breeders and our "mini" new friends, we have acquired
national winning and national producing horses that we believe will turn
our dreams into reality.
So, welcome to our website, look around, enjoy and we hope you will catch
the excitement that these dynamic little horses can provide.
